Real Estate Market Watch – Northern VA in September 2020

It might be fall, but the Northern VA real estate market did not cool off in September 2020. Homes sales are up 37% overall, compared to September 2019, and continue to sell at a rapid pace at an average of 19 days on market (31 days this time last year). Median sales prices rose from $510K in September 2019 to $596K (17% increase). And, interest rates remain low helping to secure September sales.
