“What color white should I use for my walls?” or “What’s the newest trend in wall color?”

I get these question a ! When I’m working with my homeowners looking for a refresh or my sellers looking to spruce up their properties for market, I usually choose white.  It may seem like the simple choice, but I assure you, it is not as boring as you may think.  There are so many different tints and tones, you’ll be sure to find a white that brings your space together without being distracting to a potential buyer’s eyes.

My go-to is Sherwin Williams’ Pure White SW 7005 in a flat finish. It’s a classic clean white, that feels fresh and bright and goes with every decorating style. Be sure to complement the flat finish walls with semi gloss trims, moldings, and doors. It creates a subtle contrast to highlight details without distractions. White is also a super choice for painting outdated wood kitchen or bathroom vanity cabinets.
